Its me again,
I know only a few minutes ago I posted my first post but I think that that was a bit rule related and boring so I have decided to add another that will show you a bit more of what the rest of my blog will be like.
Around 6 months ago a friend mentioned to me that she loved to watch videos where YouTubers. Her favourite was the Zoella videos. I had never watched a YouTuber video so I started watching them and I have since been addicted. I like to watch other YouTuber videos but I must say that Zoella is my favourite. Who is your favourite YouTuber? Do you have a specific favourite video of theirs? Let me know in the comments below, I can't wait to read them.
Some of my favourite videos to watch are favourites videos and empties videos. Obviously I can't do an empties video but I will try to do a favourites blog post.
Here we go......
Beeswax Lip Balm
My first favourite is "Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm with Vitamin E & Peppermint". A friend bought this for me for my birthday and it came in a little pack with a cuticle cream. I don't really know what cuticle cream is or what you use it for (if you know please let me know) but it smelt super nice and was in a nice metal tin which I would call a Lip Balm tin because it is what heaps of lip balms come in. The balm was not peppermint flavoured, but instead it was 'Lemon Butter' scented. When you smell it, it reminds me of cooking when you need the zest of a lemon as it is a strong fragrance, but because of the butter in it wasn't overpowering.
This is a favourite of mine because it has a nice pepperminty smell so it makes you feel clean and refreshed and it leaves your lips super soft and repaired. I get cracked lips all the time and when I get nervous I do have the slight tendency to bite on my lips which can leave my lips tender and uneven. I don't know if it is possible, but this seems to help my lips repair double quick. Some friends have says it is because of the Vitamin E in the balm.
Parisian Pampering Box Set
My next favourite is a gift pack called the "Parisian Pampering Selection Box" made by a company called "Pretty Patisserie". Another friend bought this for me and it contains heaps of great products in it. It contains:
Duck Egg Nail Polish (5ml)
Pink Nail Polish (5ml)
Camel Nail Polish (5ml)
Strawberry Bath Sprinkles (20g)
Lemon Bath Sprinkles (20g)
Mint Bath Sprinkles (20g)
Lemon Shower Cream (140ml)
Strawberry Body Wash (140ml)Strawberry Body Butter (100ml)Mint Lip Balm (7g)Raspberry Lip Balm (7g)That was the list off the back of the packet for those of you that just love the specifics of things. All of the products in the set were amazing and I enjoyed just smelling each of the products individually. The packaging of all of the items and the box itself makes it seem a little too self indulgent for everyday use so I had to use (and still do) it for special occasions. My favourite would have to be the Raspberry Lip Balm and the Strawberry Body Butter. All throughout the packaging it said "Pretty treat, do not eat!" and "Warning: delectable but not edible" which was cute.Instant CameraAnother is my Instax Mini 8 Instant Camera by FujiFilm (I think). This is an awesome camera that I got from my parents for my birthday. This camera brings back a little of the vintage side in all of us. I love this product and there are so many acsessories that you can buy to go with it. This is a product that I would reccomend to others, but there is an issue. The camera is roughly $80 to start with, then you have to buy the film for it. When you buy the camera it should have one pack of film with it, or otherwise it is second hand or not a proper one. One pack of film is equal to 10 images. There are heaps of different types of film, only around 5-10 of them are official Fujifilm ones though. When you buy the plain, I can usually get it for $15 but all the other films are $20 each. Remember that these are all only 10 pictures. All this film makes the camera as a whole very expensive and once you have click the capture button you can't undo, stop it printing, see if it is in focus etc.A Sentence A Day JournalAnother favourite of mine is my "A Sentence A Day" journal. The journal is really You could buy it as a super thoughtful present or just as a little memory book. I think you can also get other types of this book as in Kikki K the other day I saw the "A Picture A Day" journal which I was about to buy but then had to think of wll the printing it would cost and/or film. The blurb for this product is: "Put pen to paper to complete a simple prompt each day of the year for three years. Without even noticing, you'll capture unique insights into your life, realise change and growth, and create a keepsake you can look back on for years to come. A unique keepsake journal for yourself, and a gorgeous gift for any loved one." The books come in heaps of different styles and because they have no set date in them you can use them for ages without the pressure to keep up. The books are around $17 but can last a minimum of 3 years.I am running out of internet and time so I decided to just list some of my favourite books. Let me know if you like any of these books.Vivien's Heavenly Ice Cream ShopAbby ClementsThis book I discovered at a local second hand book store although it is reasonably recent. I would have very happily payed full price for it. I loved this book as it is slightly on the more sdult side which is a little unusual for me to read. It is totally appropriate and makes you smile. There are some mouth watering recipes inside as well. Hint: There is a Heavenly Italian Ice Cream Shop coming out soon which I have already pre-ordered. Book Rating: 9/10Bob seriesJames BowenThis is a series of books based on the true stories about a homeless, recovering drug addict and his cat. It may sound a little heavy but once you have read them there will be no turning back! They are super great and touching. Book Series Rating: 9/10The Divergent SeriesVeronica RothMust Read!! There are little words to describe this series but you must, must, must read this series. Only problem is the movies do not live up to the expectations set by the book. What did you think about the movie and book?Hunger Games SeriesSuzanne CollinsThese are a little like the Divergent series but they are equally as good!I could go on for days about all of my favourite books/ series but I only have limited time to do this and you may have limited time to read this. In my next post I will add a few more of my lucky favourites!!Please let me know in the comments if you have used/ read any of the products/ books mentioned, if you will and when you have let me know what you thought of it. Also, if you want you can post what some of your favourite books, movies & products are feel free to in the comments. Please look out for my next post and I can't wait to see of what you think of my faves!Just to be on the legal side, I have referenced all the pictures below.
